Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon was full of praise for his players over the weekend after the team secured their first win of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Prior to the game, the coach had come under massive pressure after failing to lead the team to a win in the first five matches of the ongoing campaign.
On Saturday, when Dreams FC hosted Nations FC in Week 6, Winfred Dormon set up his team to end their winless run.
With players playing to instructions and fighting for every ball, they secured a crucial 2-0 victory over Nations FC.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Winfred Dormon applauded his players for the victory, stressing that amassing their first three points of the campaign was very important.
“We have dropped a lot of points recently, so this game was very important for us. The players have everything to secure the result, and I want to congratulate the entire playing body and the technical team. It’s not just about me,” the Dreams FC coach said.
Up next for Dreams FC, the team will take on Aduana Stars in Week 7. Coach Winfred Dormon and his boys will be hoping to secure their second win of the season.
