
Ten-man Na God FC displayed impressive determination to secure a valuable point in a goalless draw against Home Stars FC, maintaining their unbeaten start to the season in the Access Bank Division One League Zone III.
Despite being reduced to ten men, Na God FC defended resolutely and countered effectively, keeping the hosts at bay throughout the encounter. Both teams had opportunities in each half but failed to make them count. The draw keeps Na God FC top of the table with 10 points from four matches, a reflection of their strong early-season form.
At the Tuba AstroTurf, Golden Kick SC preserved their perfect home record with a 1-0 victory over Semper Fi FC. The decisive moment arrived in the 48th minute when Shaban Abubakar fired a spectacular strike from outside the box into the net. Semper Fi FC pressed hard for an equaliser but were frustrated by a compact and disciplined Golden Kick defence that saw out the win.
Meanwhile, at the McDan Sports Complex, Accra Great Olympics were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against Port City FC in a tense affair. After a goalless first half, Osafo Antwi converted a penalty in the 59th minute to give Olympics the lead. However, Port City’s Eric Tibu struck from the spot late in the game to deny the hosts their first league victory since April 2025, ensuring both sides shared the points in a tightly contested fixture.
