
Hearts of Oak have extended their condolences to the family of the late Ghanaian tactician Annor Walker.
In a notice on social media after learning about the passing of the former Great Olympics coach, the club described Annor Walker as a true servant of Ghana football and prayed for a peaceful rest for his soul.
“We are sorry to learn of the passing of Coach Daniel Annor Walker, who was a true servant of Ghana football.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, football fraternity, and the entire Vision FC fraternity during this difficult time. May his soul rest in perfect peace,” Hearts of Oak said in a post on X.

Annor Walker died on Wednesday, October 1, at his residence in Accra after a short illness.
Until his demise, the Ghanaian coach worked with several clubs, including Great Olympics, Nania FC, Kpando Hearts of Lions, and Berekum Chelsea.
A CAF License A holder, he guided Nania FC to their historic 2011 MTN FA Cup triumph over Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In 2020, Walker took charge of Great Olympics, where he built one of the club’s most competitive sides in recent years. Despite health challenges, he returned to the touchline to lead the team into the upper ranks of the Ghana Premier League.
He also managed the Black Galaxies, leading them to the 2023 African Nations Championship in Algeria.
Annor Walker is remembered for his tactical discipline, eye for talent, and lasting contribution to Ghanaian football.
