Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, Sarfo Duku, has praised the impact of Karim Zito, insisting that he has what it takes to take the club to the next level.
His commendations come after the former Black Satellites guided the Pocupine Warriors to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Kotoko secured a 5-3 aggregate scoreline against Nigerian side Kwara United after a legged tie.
Speaking in an interview, Duku lauded Zito and his assistant coaches for the work they have done so far and insisted the former Dreams FC gaffer can take the club to the next level.
"Karim Zito is working, and he has the experience to take the club to the next level," he told Kumasi-based Kessben FM.
"He is a legend of the club, and in terms of coaching, he has worked for many years, and he has the experience and together with his assistant coaches, I believe they are on track," he added.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will face off against Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club in the second round of the preliminary round of games, scheduled for later this month.
Kotoko will resume their Ghana Premier League campaign this weekend when they host Heart of Lions in the Matchday 4 games at the Baba Yara Stadium.
