â??It doesnâ??t speak well of meâ?? â?? Desmond-Issah Botchway laments Bechem Unitedâ??s poor GPL form

The head coach of Bechem United, Desmond-Issah Botchway, has admitted that he is disturbed by the teams poor start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.Despite feeling a lot confident before the start of the campaign, things have not worked out the way the highly-rated tactician envisaged.Three games into the new league campaign, his Bechem United side is yet to pick up a win, having suffered two defeats and drawn the other game.Speaking in a post-match interview over the weekend after Bechem United lost 1-0 to Heart of Lions, Desmond-Issah Botchway stressed that he is not a happy man.He argued that he is currently feeling down, knowing that the results do not speak well of him.Honestly, the defeat against Heart of Lions has left me down a lot because we have played three matches, lost two away and drawn one at home. It doesnt speak well of me. It has left me down, but I will work hard to come out of it, Desmond-Issah Botchway said.The Bechem United head coach further appealed to fans to continue supporting the team, assuring that he is determined to work harder with his players to turn around the teams poor form in the Ghana Premier League.Next weekend, the Hunters will take on unbeaten Hearts of Oak in a tough Week 4 fixture in the ongoing league campaign.
