Hearts of Oak midfielder Enock Asubonteng has been named in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League Team of the Week (ToTW) after netting the team’s winning goal in the victory against Eleven Wonders.
The youngster started the Week 3 encounter for his team last Friday, putting in a very good shift and scoring the decisive equaliser to earn all three points for Didi Dramani’s side.
For his impressive showing in that game, Asubonteng has been named in the Team of the Week put together by former Black Stars goalkeeper Fatau Dauda.
He is joined by several top performers from Week 3, including FC Samartex goalkeeper Zakari Musah.
Musah was in the post for the former champions in their Week 3 contest against Nations FC. In the highly contested fixture, the goalkeeper made several important stops, keeping his team in the game throughout the 90 minutes as they earned a point at full-time.
After helping Karela United to beat Medeama SC 1-0, defender Faisal Gariba and Zaidan Mohammed also earned spots in the Team of the Week.
With September coming to an end, some of these players are likely to be shortlisted for the Player of the Month award.
