Prosper Kassim was on target as Union Omaha recorded a convincing 3-0 victory over Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in the USL League One.
The Ghanaian winger started the game and lasted the full 90 minutes, delivering a lively performance that delighted the traveling fans.
The visitors took control early when Owen Green turned the ball into his own net in the 14th minute. Just over fifteen minutes later, Sergio Ors doubled the lead with a neat finish after connecting with a cross from Stefano Pinho.
Kassim capped off a dominant first half in the 36th minute. Breaking forward on a swift counterattack, he finished calmly with his left foot from the center of the box to make it 3-0. His goal underlined Union Omaha’s superiority in possession and sharpness in attack.
Chattanooga struggled to respond, creating few chances and rarely troubling the goalkeeper. With the win secured, Union Omaha now shift their focus to their next league game against Portland Hearts of Pine on October 1.
