Bechem United midfielder Frank Amankwah has disclosed that the team is determined to secure their first win of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season when they take on Heart of Lions this weekend.
Two matches into the new league campaign, the Hunters are without a win, having lost 2-1 to Gold Strs in their opening fixture before drawing 1-1 with Holy Stars in Week 2.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of Bechem United’s Week 3 trip to Kpando to battle Heart of Lions, Frank Amankwah assured fans that every player is keen on giving their all to ensure they pick their first three points of the season.
“We must ensure on Sunday we get a good result in Kpando. Drawing against Holy Stars at home was like a defeat to us, the players, so we are doing everything to go away to earn all three points from the upcoming game against Heart of Lions,” Amankwah told Bechem United TV.
The upcoming encounter between Heart of Lions and Bechem United will be played on Sunday, September 28.
