Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has expressed delight in returning to Spain but admits there has been some changes and it will take time for him to get use to the new brand of football in La Liga.
Partey spent most of his time playing in Spain before making a record-breaking move to England to join Arsenal in 2020.
After five years in the Premier League, where the game is fast and more physical, Partey moved back to La Liga to sign for Villarreal.
The experience midfielder is gradually making his way into the starting line up of the Yellow Submarines after making his first start against Atletico Madrid last Saturday.
"I feel good. I am happy to be playing. I am happy with the team, with the coaches, with everything and I am happy with my teammates and I feel happy to be back here playing again in Wanda. It's been a long time and I am happy," he told Sporty TV.
"I am now getting back. It is a different team and the style of play is different and I think with time I will get used to it and I will be able to enjoy."
Partey has travelled with the team to London for the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday against Tottenham Hotspur.
