Vision FC played out a goalless draw against visiting FC Samartex in their opening game of the season on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
The hosts played with ten men in the last 15 minutes of the game but stayed firm and dominated possession at Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.
An evenly-contested first half ended goalless but after recess Vision looked the likelier side to break the deadlock until Richmond Ocran was sent off in the 75th minute.
Ocran lasted just 8 minutes on the pitch after being subbed on by head coach, Nana Kwaku Agyemang.
The spoils may have been shared at full time but the game showed Vision's dominance at their home ground.
Samartex will be disappointed they couldn't count on their numerical advantage to claim a crucial win on the road.
The Timber Giants will host Karela United for their next game while Vision are away to Medeama.
