The head coach of Hohoe United, Tijani Abdul Rahim Bashiru, has set his sights on leading the team to victory against Young Apostles in their next outing in the Ghana Premier League.
The newly promoted side showed a lot of resilience on Friday night against Hearts of Oak in the opening fixture of the 2025/26 league campaign.
In what was a tough match against the Ghanaian giants, Hohoe United earned a point after holding the Phobians to a goalless stalemate at the end of the 90 minutes.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Coach Tijani Abdul Rahim Bashiru assured fans that his team will prepare well for their next game against Young Apostles at home to ensure they earn all three points.
“We are going to prepare well for Young Apostles. If we are able to pick a point here, then we have to do well to pick a win at home,” the coach said.
Hohoe United will host Young Apostles on Friday, September 19, in Week 2 of the new league season.
