Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has moved to clear up reports suggesting the FA’s partnership with StarTimes ended on bad terms.
According to him, the relationship reached its natural conclusion and was never cut short.
Speaking openly, Okraku explained that the five-year agreement with StarTimes ran its full course before the FA moved on to a new model with Adesa Productions. He stressed that the FA valued the journey with StarTimes but was also excited about the fresh path ahead.
“Let me start by saying that first of all our relationship with StarTimes did not collapse along the way it traveled its full term it was over five years and the relationship traveled its full term just to correct the wrong impression," as aired by Peace FM.
"What we currently have (with Adesa) is a totally different model this is a joint partnership and indeed it is for an initial three year period the standard exit clauses do apply,”
