Brighton & Hove Albion have confirmed the return of forward Michelle Agyemang on loan from Arsenal for the 2025-26 season.
The 19-year-old played a key role in England’s successful Women’s European Championship title defence, which culminated in a penalty shootout win over Spain.
Agyemang was instrumental in earlier knockout matches, scoring crucial late equalisers in both the quarterfinals and semifinals.
The Ghanaian heritage forward impressed during her previous loan spell at Brighton last season, netting five goals in 22 appearances across all competitions.
Those performances helped her earn a debut for England ahead of Euro 2025, where she marked her first minutes on the pitch by scoring within 41 seconds of entering the game from the bench.
Brighton manager Dario Vidosic expressed his delight at her return, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome Michelle back for another season. We loved working with her last year, and seeing how much she progressed as part of the squad.
"What she achieved during the summer with England was incredible but not surprising. She has the character, work ethic and relentless nature of a champion.”
Agyemang’s previous stint was pivotal in Brighton’s record-breaking campaign, and the club now looks forward to her influence in attack as they aim to build on last season’s successes.
