Former Deputy Minister for Communications, Victoria Hamah, has set tongues wagging after saying, “May we find true love in 2025.”
In a Facebook post on New Year’s Day, Ms Hamah stated that love is the only thing that can make a woman blossom.
The gender activist, who is currently unmarried, has also kept her relationship status private and away from the public eye. However, her latest post has led some of her social media followers to speculate that she might be ready to embrace love in 2025.
“It’s only love that makes a woman blossom. May we find true love in 2025,” she wrote on her Facebook page on Wednesday.
Last year, Ms Hamah left her followers puzzled with a similarly cryptic post on her social media page.
In May 2024, she wrote about being available after an arduous journey spanning the last decade. Her post on Facebook read:
“I’m finally available! And it took an arduous journey of 11 years.”
With no further details or context provided, the post left many of her followers guessing and interpreting it in their own ways.
While some inferred that she was now open to a relationship, others linked the post to the $1 million controversy she was involved in 12 years ago.
Ms Hamah currently serves as the Executive Director of the Progressive Organisation for Women Advancement (POWA).
