Singer and socialite Efia Odo has discussed her relationship with self-proclaimed dancehall king Shatta Wale.

Despite persistent rumours of a romantic involvement between them, the pair have consistently denied such allegations.

In an upcoming television show , Efia Odo refuted claims of a romantic relationship with Shatta Wale.

She admitted to having shared a bed with the singer in the past but clarified that they never had sexual intercourse. “If I want to sleep with a man, I will sleep with a man. But me and Charles, we can be in bed together and he won't touch me,” she said.

Although she denied a romantic relationship with Shatta Wale, Efia Odo revealed in a teaser for an upcoming podcast that she had a deep affection for him.

She described their connection as so profound that she once used her own money to support Shatta Wale and his friends.

“When I love, I love hard… that’s just who I am. With Shatta Wale, I was cooking for him and his 10 friends. Imagine buying groceries for all those people, and I supported his family and all with my own money. I’ve always been in love,” Efia Odo said in the yet-to-be-released podcast.

Efia Odo and Shatta Wale’s close relationship stirred rumors of them being involved in a secret love affair.

There have been a lot of instances where these two have been spotted together in a compromising situation but Efia Odo always insists that they are nothing more than just friends.

Efia Odo and Shatta Wale had a great relationship until their fallout sometime in 2020.

This was after claims that Shatta Wale had stolen Efia Odo’s business partner.
