Representatives of the Spanish government led by its Foreign minister, Directors of Casa Africa and Vis-a-Vis festival have commended Ghana for taking interest in the Casa Africa agenda.
A Ghanaian delegation led by President of the Creative Arts Council, Mark Okraku-Mantey are in Spain for this year’s Vis-à-vis Festival.
Raquel Morales Martinez, a representative from the Spanish Foreign ministry in Jaen, at a press conference could not hide her joy but to commend Mr Okraku-Mantey for leading such a great course and supporting the Casa Africa agenda.
Mr. Okraku-Mantey thanked the Spanish authorities for the opportunity to be part of the Festival.
Making reference to an upcoming performance by Ghanaian bands FRA and Kyekyeku, he told the people of Jean and Etnosur to prepare for a thrilling event, depicting Ghana’s rich culture, art and music.
He further expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity given to Ghana and later elaborated on future relationship between Ghana and Spain's entertainment industry.
The Kyekyeku band is billed to perform Friday night inside Etnosur to music lovers from all over Europe who have thronged the city of Jaen and Etnosur to enjoy music from Africa.
