The chiefs and people of Seidu-pe community in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah region can now boast of a 3-unit classroom block.
This was made possible by the Parliamentarian for the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency, John Abdulai Jinapor, who sponsored the project through his share of MPs common fund.
On Tuesday, Mr Jinapor handed over Primary School Pavilion to the community after a short ceremony.
He noted that the initiative followed appeals from the community elders for a basic school facility.
Seidu-pe is a farming community in the Tuluwe Traditional area which lacks basic infrastructure including a primary school.
John Jinapor expressed the need for quality basic education in the constituency to ensure a sustainable future for the next generation.
The MP also donated 100 dual desks and some teaching and learning materials to surrounding communities in the constituency.
