A book on the history of the Assemblies of God dubbed ‘Fire from the North’ is set to be launched on July 22, 2019.
The book authored by General Superintendent, Rev Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso, seeks to highlight the origins, growth, development and influence of Assemblies of God, Ghana.
The book further analysis how Assemblies of God in Ghana first started from Northern Ghana and spread to the south of the country.
The author has painstakingly researched and interviewed people who played key roles in the formative years of the church.
Rev Prof. Frimpong-Manso at a pre-launch said, he was motivated to write the book because Assemblies of God has no documentary evidence of its history.
The General Superintendent stated that, he also wants it to serve as a memoir of inspiration and direction for the church in the future.
The launch to be held at the Assemblies of God headquarters in Accra, promises to be exciting.
