President John Dramani Mahama has presided over the award of grants to 475 young entrepreneurs under the Adwumawura Programme, reinforcing the government’s commitment to youth empowerment and entrepreneurship development.
The programme is designed to strengthen Ghana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing young people with both financial support and capacity-building resources to establish and grow sustainable businesses.
It specifically targets youth-led enterprises while also promoting women’s participation to ensure inclusivity and equal opportunity in business development.
Through these grants, beneficiaries are expected to access not just funding, but also guidance and mentorship that will help them innovate, scale their businesses, and contribute to long-term economic growth.
The Adwumawura Programme forms part of broader efforts under the #ResettingGhana agenda to support young people in pursuing economic opportunities and building a thriving entrepreneurial sector.
