The Street Children Empowerment Foundation (SCEF), a non-governmental organisation working to uplift and transform the lives of street-connected children in Ghana, has launched its 15 years anniversary in Accra.
It is on the theme: ‘Celebrating Resilience, Empowering Futures.’ A press statement issued by the SCEF copied The Ghanaian Times said.
To commemorate this milestone, SCEF has planned a year-long series of events, including advocacy campaigns, stakeholder symposia, and cultural celebrations to raise awareness about the plight of street-connected children in Ghana and inspire collaborative action for sustainable change
According to Paul Semeh, Founder and Executive Director of SCEF, “Our 15-year journey has been one of challenges, growth, and triumphs. We remain committed to empowering futures and building a world where every child can thrive.”
Join SCEF in empowering futures and transforming lives. Together, we can create a brighter future for street-connected children in Ghana,” he added.
“Since 2010 over the past 15 years, SCEF has rescued, rehabilitated, and reintegrated thousands of street-connected children into society, providing access to education, healthcare, and family empowerment programmes.
According to the statement, the organisation has also advocated for child rights, partnering with policymakers and stakeholders to create safer and more inclusive systems for vulnerable children,” the statement revealed.
SCEF is calling on all stakeholders, partners, and the general public to join the celebrations and support the ongoing mission to uplift street-connected children in Ghana. Visit www.scef-international.org to learn more, donate, or participate in the upcoming events.
