The Black Satellites of Ghana defeated Niger 2-0 in their second group match of the ongoing WAFU U-20 Zone B tournament yesterday in Togo.
The two goals were scored by Aziz Musbau.
The victory came after a 2-2 draw in the opening encounter against Benin.
Both teams struggled to break the deadlock in the first half, but Ghana emerged stronger after the break.
Musibau opened the scoring just after the hour mark with a long-range shot and sealed the victory in the 73rd minute with a close-range finish.
The win gives Ghana four points and puts them in a strong position to advance to the next round of the competition
