Some heavily built men (macho men) disrupted the Council of State election held at the Regional Coordinating Council in Kumasi yesterday.

The thugs stormed the polling station where voting had been taking place peacefully and destroyed Electoral Commission (EC) materials and physically assaulted some journalists.
The election process has been halted as a result of the disruption.
Meanwhile, the Police have launched a manhunt for those behind the disruption of the Kumasi Council of State elections. The Police explained that they are reviewing available footage to identify, arrest and prosecute those responsible for the disruption.
