MTN FA Cup preliminary round commences on January 24

The 2019/20 MTN FA Cup preliminary round will start on January 24, 2019 across the country.

18 Premier League sides will battle 48 Division One League clubs and 44 Division Two League clubs for the coveted trophy in a competition dubbed 'Obia Nye Obia'.

The third-tier sides will kick off the championship before the Division One and top flight sides join them in the next phase of the competition.

The final of this year's FA Cup is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2020.

Hearts of Oak and Asante Koko are the most successful clubs in the competition history having won the title on ten and nine times respectively. Read Full Story
