Ghanaian midfielder Christopher Baah registered an assist as Al-Qadsiah battled to a dramatic 3-3 draw with Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League on Friday.
The entertaining Round 7 contest at EGO Stadium produced six goals and several momentum swings before both teams settled for a point.
Al-Qadsiah made the stronger start, with Julian Quiñones opening the scoring after 12 minutes. Baah then played a key role in the second goal, setting up Mateo Retegui in the 15th minute to give the hosts a two-goal advantage. Al-Ettifaq responded through Bersant Celina before halftime.
The visitors completed their comeback after the break when Alvaro Medran equalised in the 64th minute. Mohammed Hamad Al-Qahtani restored Al-Qadsiah’s lead in the 81st minute, but Jordan Larsson struck four minutes later to secure the final 3-3 scoreline.
Baah completed the match and continues to build an influential campaign. He has now played seven league games this season, contributing two assists. Al-Qadsiah, currently third in the standings, will next turn their attention to continental football when they face Al-Wasl in the AFC Champions League Elite on September 14.
