Three players have been shortlisted for the NASCO Ghana Premier League Player of the Month award for March following standout performances for their respective clubs.
Samuel Okai of Bechem United earned his nomination after featuring in four matches, scoring once and claiming two Man of the Match awards. The winger was instrumental in his side’s first away win of the season against FC Samartex, where he delivered a match-winning display.
Claude Shooting Bortey also made the shortlist following an impressive run with Young Apostles. The centre-back scored three goals, including two remarkable free-kicks against Heart of Lions, and picked up one Man of the Match award.
Setsofia Aqetey completes the list of nominees after contributing two goals in four matches for Vision FC, along with one Man of the Match performance.
The winner will receive a 43-inch NASCO television and a NASCO double-door bottom-freezer refrigerator, courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited.
