Ghana forward Daniel Agyei has earned his first call-up to the Black Stars, named in Otto Addo's squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany.
The 27-year-old Kocaelispor attacker is among four debutants included in the squad for the crucial World Cup preparation matches. Ghana will face Austria in Vienna on March 27 before travelling to Stuttgart to take on Germany on March 30.
Agyei, born in England to Ghanaian parents, has previously expressed his desire to represent Ghana.
The versatile forward, who can operate as a striker or winger, built his career in the English league system with Burnley, Leyton Orient, Crewe Alexandra, and Oxford United before moving to Turkish side Kocaelispor. This season, he has registered four goals in 21 league appearances.
The matches form part of Ghana's preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the Black Stars have been drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama.
