Ghanaian midfielder Mawuli Mensah was handed his debut just days after joining Real Zaragoza from La Liga side Real Betis.
The hardworking midfielder started for Zaragoza as they engaged Eibar at the Ibercaja Estadio on Saturday afternoon.
The 22-year-old lasted 67 minutes before he was replaced by Ivorian Paul Akouokou as Zaragoza shared the spoils with Eibar.
"Very happy about my debut in La Liga 2 and with this shirt Real Zaragoza. Not so much with the result, we deserved more, but I'm convinced the results will come!! Let's go all out," posted the Ghanaian after the match.
Meanwhile, in a dramatic encounter, Jawad El Yamiq opened the scoring for the host in the first half before netting an own goal to level the scores in the second half.
Things went from bad to worse for El Yamiq after seeing a red card late in the game.
Mensah joined Zaragoza on a contract till the end of the season, with the option of a further two year deal.
