Medeama Chief Executive Officer, James Essilfie, has paid tribute to outgoing right back Kamaradini Mamudu, describing his final appearance for the club as a fitting and memorable farewell.
Speaking to the club’s media team after the defender completed his move to Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman, Essilfie reflected on Kamaradini’s performance in Medeama’s 3-1 victory last Sunday. He praised the attacking full-back for signing off in style by scoring twice in his final outing for the Mauve and Yellows.
According to the CEO, the brace perfectly summed up Kamaradini’s influence and strong bond with the Tarkwa-based club and its supporters.
“Kamaradini gave our supporters and the people of Tarkwa a farewell they will always remember. Scoring twice in his final match sums up the player he has been for us,” Essilfie said.
He wished the defender well in the next stage of his career and noted that his final display in Medeama colours will remain a special moment in the club’s history.
