Musah Mohammed scored a fine second half goal to help Bodrum FK earn a 2-2 draw against Erzurumspor FK in Round 17 of the Turkish 1. Lig on Sunday.
The Ghanaian midfielder struck two minutes after the break, driving a right foot shot from outside the box into the bottom corner to put Bodrum FK ahead. He started the match, played the full ninety minutes and stood out with calm passing and smart movement, earning loud cheers from the away fans.
Erzurumspor had taken an early lead through Mustafa Yumlu in the eighth minute after a corner was confirmed by VAR. Bodrum responded well and drew level before the break when Fredy fired home from distance to restore belief.
Mohammed’s goal flipped the game, but the hosts kept pushing. Their pressure paid off late on when Eren Tozlu headed in the equaliser in the 83rd minute.
Erzurumspor enjoyed more of the ball and took more shots, yet Bodrum defended with discipline to see out the draw at Kazım Karabekir Stadium. Bodrum now prepare for Turkish Cup tie against GençlerbirliÄi next.
