The draw took place on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, marking the start of Ghana’s preparations for their fifth appearance on football’s biggest stage.
Okraku was accompanied by a high-powered team that included Executive Council Member Dr Randy Abbey, who also serves as Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, Executive Council Member Frederick Acheampong, General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo and Deputy General Secretary and Director of National Teams, Alexander Asante.
Black Stars head coach Otto Addo and former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan were also present, with Gyan receiving warm recognition as Africa’s all-time leading scorer at the World Cup.
