Coach Ibrahim Tanko is keeping a calm focus as Medeama prepare for their league clash against Berekum Chelsea, sharing a clear update on the squad’s fitness and availability ahead of the weekend.
Tanko explained that most players are available, with only a few missing due to injury or national team duty. "I think Desmond didn't train since we came back and Prince Owusu and he's with the local Black Stars and I think apart from them all the play other players are on board," he told Medeama TV.
He also touched on the progress of Emmanuel Owusu, who is still working his way back to full fitness. "I mean still we have to be patient with him I think and he was at the training yesterday but he couldn't do more and he's just walk on the pitch so we have to be patient on him and then hope that from next week it will be better."
Tanko added a positive update on Fatawu Sulemana. "I mean Fatawu is fit I think three weeks now he's training he play most of the friendly matches that we organize. So we are we hope that to remain fit and then we see what will happen in the weekend."
Medeama sit top of the league with 23 points after 12 games.
