Newly appointed Eleven Wonders head coach Emmanuel Aidoo has admitted that accepting the challenge to coach the side is a risk.
Following the departure of Nii Odartey Lamptey and J.E. Sarpong, due to internal challenges, Aidoo was confirmed as the new head coach for the side.
Since his appointment, Eleven Wonders have recorded their first win by progressing to the next round of the FA Cup.
However, after going 11 matches without a win in the Premier League, Aidoo guided the side to secure their first win of the season with a 2-0 win over Dreams FC in the Matchday 12 games on Monday.
Despite the fine start, Aidoo revealed that he has been tasked to ensure the club keep their Premier League status, but further stressed that it is a huge risk accepting to coach the side.
"I’ve been tasked to ensure that Eleven Wonders does not go on relegation, but I must say that accepting the challenge to coach Eleven Wonders was a risk," he told Asempa FM.
He also clarified that the monthly salaries for the playing body have been paid.
"As far as I know, the Eleven Wonders players have been paid their monthly salaries."
Eleven Wonders, who sit at the bottom of the league log with six points, will take on Swedru All Blacks on Sunday in the Matchday 13 games.
