The head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has noted that his team is determined to secure a win against Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League this weekend to maintain their impressive unbeaten run.
The Yellow and Mauves are heading into the Week 12 league fixture with an impressive run of eight games without a defeat across all competitions.
Addressing a pre-match conference on Friday, Ibrahim Tanko acknowledged that the upcoming contest will be tough but assured fans that his team will do everything to return from Kumasi with at least a point.
“That is our goal. We are eight games unbeaten now, but against Kotoko, it is going to be a different game altogether. They also had their first loss against Holy Stars. They are playing at home, and we are playing away, but of course we want to keep our unbeaten record and if possible get the three points there,” Ibrahim Tanko told Medi TV.
The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League fixture between Asante Kotoko and Medeama SC will be played on Sunday, November 30. The game will kick off at 3 pm at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
A win for Medeama SC could see the team lead the Ghana Premier League standings at the end of the matchday.
