Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has popped up on the radar of Premier League giants, Manchester City as the winter transfer window approaches.
The Black Stars attacker was as a top transfer target for several clubs including Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, but Semenyo opted to sign a new deal with the Cherries.
Bournemouth is bracing themselves for a fresh wave of bids for the Ghana international as the winter window approaches, having rebuffed summer offers.
Semenyo is expected to be at the centre of a transfer bidding war in January, with a £65 million release clause in his contract at Bournemouth set to be active in January.
With several clubs aware of the situation, it is understood clubs are circling to bid for the Black Stars forward.
However, Manchester City, whose immediate priority is to strengthen their wings in January are said to be considering a move for Semenyo. The club is assessing whether it prefers to sign a powerful, direct winger or a more technical and subtle profile.
Meanwhile, Liverpool has reportedly held a positive talks with AFC Bournemouth over a possible of Semenyo this winter.
Semenyo has been in a scintillating form for Bournemouth this season, scoring six goals and delivering three assists in eleven appearances in the Premier League.
His impressive start to the 2025/26 league season earned him the Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards for August at Bournemouth.
