Former Black Stars midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah says football has “been everything” for him, even as he forges a new path after retiring from professional play.
Asamoah, who retired in 2022, is now co-owner of the Juventus Academy in Accra, where he continues to impact young players both administratively and, on the field, often training alongside them.
In an interview with the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), the 36-year-old reflected on his lifelong connection to the sport. "Football has been everything for me, even till date. I just live with football," he said. "I had the gift. I didn’t play any colts team. I was just playing for fun."
