Swedru All Blacks striker Rudolf Mensah says head coach Ahmed Ibrahim Fathi is shaping him into a 'hybrid striker' as the club evolves tactically.

The remarks came after All Blacks’ 3-2 shock win over Dreams FC at the University of Ghana Stadium, marking the club’s first away victory of the 2025-2026 season.

Mensah, who scored 27 goals in 30 games to help All Blacks reach the top division, was named Man of the Match. He expressed optimism about the team’s future following the win.

“When the coach, Ahmed Fathi, came in, he’s trying his best to create a different type of football in Ghana,” Mensah said.

“He’s trying to create hybrid players; for me, he’s trying to create a hybrid striker in me. I can also be a midfielder, a defender, and a striker,” he added.

Mensah’s adaptability allows All Blacks to implement a flexible system, with players capable of rotating roles based on match situations.
