The head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko, is confident his team will win upcoming matches to make up for points dropped in their Week 11 fixture against Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League.
The coach was left to rue missed chances on Saturday after the Yellow and Mauves drew against the Hunters at the TnA Stadium.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Ibrahim Tanko accepted the result, assuring fans that his team will bounce back.
“The first half was really tough. We didn’t create any chances, but I think in the second half, we created all the chances, but unfortunately, we couldn’t score. The league is too long, and these kinds of games we are going to meet them. We know that we are going to get the points somewhere,” Ibrahim Tanko said.
The draw with Bechem United over the weekend has seen Medeama SC lose their place at the summit of the Ghana Premier League standings.
The team is now third on the table with 22 points, one behind Aduana FC, the team leading the log. The Tarkwa-based team will face off with Asante Kotoko in their next match.
