Kobina Amissah led Bechem United to a hard-fought goalless draw on Saturday and he believes his players are beginning to understand his ideas on the pitch.
The coach shared that the group is growing stronger each week as they adjust to his style and instructions.
He also noted that some players who recently returned from national duty will need time to catch up with what their teammates have learned. For him, consistency in training and teamwork is key as the season continues.
Bechem United showed solid discipline throughout the match, keeping a close watch on Kelvin Nkrumah and Prince Owusu. Medeama pushed for a late winner, but Augustine Okrah’s powerful strike hit the post, sparing Bechem from defeat.
Goalkeeper Benjamin Asiedu Kwesi stood out with brilliant saves and quick reactions that kept his side in the game.
"Gradually as I told you earlier on they are now understanding what I want them to do and Amankwah was fantastic in these two games. Next week I think there are certain corrections we will do most of our players come from the national camp so it is like what you thought them at the training you have to refresh it before they will understand," he said after the game.
Bechem United currently sit 14th with 10 points.
