I am happy to be back from injury - Bibiani Gold Stars defender Kelvin Oppong

Kelvin Oppong is the focus as he steps back onto the field after his injury layoff.

The Bibiani Gold Stars defender has worked hard to return, and he feels thankful to play again.

Ahead of their Week 11 match with Nations FC, he spoke about how good it feels to rejoin teammates and fans.

“I am very happy because when you are injured it is between you and your God nobody knows you anymore. I am happy by God's grace I am back,” he told Bibiani Goldstars TV

Oppong’s comeback brings hope to the Goldstars defense. The team has collected 19 points and kept three clean sheets in their last five games. Even though the club has struggled away recently, going four matches without a win, his return gives belief.

Goldstars have drawn their two previous visits to Abrankese, so the match is a tough challenge. But Oppong thinks being strong again matters. Fans are excited to see him back in action as he works to help the team do well on Sunday.
