Medeama SC coach Ibrahim Tanko is full of belief in his players as they prepare for their next Ghana Premier League match against Bechem United.
Ibrahim Tank is pleased with the impact of his squad, especially after their tough 2-1 win over Eleven Wonders.
Medeama worked hard for the victory over the league’s bottom side. Godknows Dzakpasu gave them the lead, but Daniel Lomotey hit back for the hosts after earlier missing a penalty. With pressure rising, Nana Kofi Babil entered the game and delivered the winner with a sharp finish that showed his hunger and bravery.
Tanko praised Babil for always taking on defenders and pushing for goals.
"I think Babil performance is always good when he came in and I like the way he play. He always face the defenders and I think he did very well. I mean I don't think some of the players will force themselves to get that goal but I think he did it and wonderful and and I hope that he will continue like this," he told Medeama TV.
He also welcomed Derrick Fordjour’s efforts and wants more from every member of the squad.
"Oh yes, of course, not only Fordjour, almost all the players I want to see more and I think the performance was okay and like I said all the team didn't have a good first half but in the second half it was better and I hope that in this weekend against Bechem will be better,"
Medeama face Bechem United on Saturday at 3:00 pm.
