Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has stressed the importance of winning their home matches in their quest to clinch the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the 2025/26 season.
The Tarkwa-based side has been unbeaten at home this season, winning four games and drawing the other match.
For coach Ibrahim Tanko, Medeama SC must continue to stay strong at home and target amassing maximum points in upcoming matches to keep the hope of winning the league title alive.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of his team’s next home match against Bechem United, the coach noted that he is optimistic his boys are ready to secure victory.
“We are playing at home, so like any other game, we want to control the game, to score goals. It’s not going to be easy. Bechem is a very good team, they have a new coach, the players are motivated, but I think playing at home with our supporters behind us I think we can take the three points.
“Medeama is playing the league to win it, so definitely if you want to win the league, you must win your home games. I’m sure the boys are ready to do it,” Ibrahim Tanko said.
The upcoming Week 11 fixture between Medeama SC and Bechem United will be played on Saturday, November 22, and is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at TnA Stadium.
