Nations FC Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Kennedy Boakye-Ansah, beleives head coach for the side, Frimpong Manso, will turn things around despite his tough start.
The Abrankese-based side recently appointed the former Ghana international as the new head trainer after parting ways with Kasim Ocansey Mingle.
However, following his appointment, Manso has just recorded a win after four matches, which leave them at teh 14th position with just 10 points after 10 games into the 2025/26 Premier League.
Despite the torrid start, Boakye-Ansah is confident that Manso can still steer the side to achieve their objectives.
"There were some issues, and that is what we are trying to address. Frimpong Manso is an astute coach, looking at what he did for Asante Kotoko as a player and the success he had with Bofoakwa Tano and Bibiani GoldStars, we decided to bring him in when we decided to make changes within the technical team, even though there were some names to be considered for the role," he told Asempa FM.
"It is natural that if you are not getting the desired results, you will not be happy, and we are not all happy. He has expressed his feelings, and I have nothing against that.
"We have a long-term project, and we are hopeful that things will change, and it will start by beating Bibiani GoldStars," he added.
After dropping points against Berekum Chelsea, Nations FC will hope to return to winning ways this weekend when they take on defending champions Bibiani GoldStars at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
