The head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko, has heaped praise on goalkeeper Felix Kyei for his improved performance since the start of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The highly-rated shot-stopper was in post for the Tarkwa-based side on Sunday during their Week 10 fixture against Eleven Wonders.
On the matchday, Felix Kyei saved a penalty kick, helping Medeama SC to secure a hard-fought 2-1 win at the end of the 90 minutes.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Ibrahim Tanko described Kyei as a fantastic goalkeeper, stressing that he will be important for his side this season in their quest to win the Ghana Premier League title.
“He is fantastic. His performance is always going up. I think to win a league or any cup, you need a good goalkeeper, and I think we have one in the person of Felix, and I think he did very well,” Ibrahim Tanko said.
The 2-1 win against Eleven Wonders has propelled Medeama SC to the summit of the Ghana Premier League table with 21 points.
The team has commenced preparations for their next league fixture against Bechem United in Week 11.
