Ghana's Black Queens have made the final three-team shortlist for the women's national team of the year at the 2025 CAF Awards.
The Black Queens were selected for the award after an impressive Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco this year. The Black Queens finished the tournament as bronze medalist.
Ghana will face competition from African champions Nigeria and silver medalists Morocco for the top award.

The Black Queens will be making a return to the Women's Africa Cup of Nations next year after securing qualification with back-to-back victories over North Africans, Egypt.
Meanwhile, Stella Nyamekye missed out on the final shortlist for the women young player of the year award.
The Black Queens will be reassembling in few months time to begin preparations for the 2026 WAFCON, which will also be a qualification tournament for the 2027 Women's World Cup.
