The AFCON 2025 Local Organizing Committee has launched a nationwide program to get all Moroccans involved in the excitement of African football ahead of the tournament.
The initiative, which began on November 11 and will run for 30 days, spans Morocco’s 12 regions and more than 60 municipalities, with the first events held in Tahannaout and Boufakrane.
At each stage, members of the public can participate in soccer matches, interactive games, and meetings with Moroccan football legends, providing fans with a unique opportunity to engage with the sport at a grassroots level.
According to the committee, AFCON 2025 is the tournament of all Moroccans, designing activities that bring people together in urban and rural areas alike. The program features musical performances, merchandise stands, freestyle exhibitions, and participatory games, ensuring a festive atmosphere across the country.
Through these initiatives, the organizers aim to foster connections, joy, and celebration, making the tournament not only a showcase of top-level football but also a nationwide cultural and sporting festival for Moroccans of all ages.
AFCON 2025 will commence on December 21
