Former Hearts of Oak management member Aziz Haruna Futa has called on the club’s hierarchy to support head coach Didi Dramani with a long-term development project spanning at least six years.
Dramani, who replaced Aboubakar Ouattara earlier this season, has overseen an encouraging start to his tenure.
He has guided the Phobians to fifth on the Ghana Premier League table with four wins, four draws, and only one defeat, against Asante Kotoko.
Aziz Futa, a former supporters leaders, believes Dramani possesses the technical capacity and vision to rebuild the team into a dominant force if given enough time and institutional backing.
“Didi Dramani is not a bad coach,” Futa told Sporty FM. “He needs time and a project.
"The club needs a project, whether six years or more, so the coach can work.”
He further urged Hearts’ leadership to adopt a long-term football philosophy instead of resorting to quick fixes, which he said have hindered the club’s progress over the years.
Hearts of Oak will look to return to winning ways when they face Swedru All Blacks on November 15 at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
