Former Bechem United forward Kwaku Osei Bonsu was on target for Spartak Subotica in their Serbian Superliga clash against Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) on Sunday, netting a superb equaliser in the 69th minute.
Bonsu produced a moment of brilliance, firing a low strike from the edge of the 18-yard box into the bottom left corner to bring Subotica level at 2-2. However, the team later conceded an unfortunate own goal, allowing Red Star to claim all three points.
The Ghanaian forward has been one of Spartak Subotica’s standout performers this season, with the goal marking his third in 11 league appearances. His energy and attacking instincts have made him a key figure in the squad’s attacking setup.
Bonsu played a crucial role in helping Subotica avoid relegation last season after making a strong return from injury in the second half of the campaign. His current form suggests he will once again be instrumental as the club looks to climb up the Superliga standings.
