The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Suzuki Motor Corporation have signed an agreement naming Suzuki as an Official Global Partner of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 and Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2026.
The deal was officially concluded in Hamamatsu, Japan, on November 11, 2025, between CAF General Secretary Veron Mosengo-Omba and Yusuke Kato, Managing Officer and Executive General Manager, Automobile Marketing for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Suzuki Motor Corporation.
Under the agreement, Suzuki will also serve as an Official Global Partner for two additional CAF competitions, the CAF Champions League 2026/27 and the CAF Confederation Cup 2026/27.
The partnership will focus on enhancing fan engagement, celebrating African football excellence, and strengthening CAF’s global commercial platform.
Speaking after the signing, Yusuke Kato expressed Suzuki’s excitement about the collaboration, saying:
“We are pleased to have concluded a sponsorship agreement with CAF. Sport connects people and inspires hope. Through this partnership, we aim to strengthen ties between Suzuki, football, and Africa while enhancing our brand presence across the continent.”
CAF and Suzuki pledged to use the partnership to promote unity, opportunity, and excellence in African football.
