Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has argued that there is no cause for alarm following the team’s defeat to bitter rivals Asante Kotoko in the first Super Clash of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians played host to the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday in a Week 9 fixture of the ongoing league campaign.
At the end of the close contest, a solitary striker from Morifing Donzo secured a narrow win for Asante Kotoko to earn the side all three points.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Didi Dramani noted that although the defeat is hard to take, it won’t have a major impact on their season.
He believes his team will recover from the setback by securing positive results from the upcoming league matches.
“We are fine. Every game is treated with the attention it deserves. It’s a marathon season, and I think we will make amends,” Didi Dramani said.
The defeat to Kotoko on Sunday saw Hearts of Oak drop from fourth to fifth in the Ghana Premier League table.
Up next for the Phobians, they will take on Swedru All Blacks on November 16.
