Ghanaian duo Clinton Antwi and Bob Nii Armah have won the Finish topflight league title with Kuopio Football Club.
The lateral defenders were pivotal in the club's success, featuring in the league-clinching game against HJK Helsinki. A game KuPS won 2-0, courtesy goals from Agon Sadiku and Mohamed Toure.
Nii Armah, 21, a Ghana youth international, joined KuPS in January from SC Accra, and made 17 league appearances with an assist to his credit to help the club win the title.
Meanwhile, Antwi, the more experienced player, was a Right to Dream Academy graduate, and joined KuPS in 2022 from FC Nordsjaelland. This season, Antwi made 18 league appearances, contributing three goals.
"Togetherness, dedication and being a family has been the foundation of our success. Thanks to my teammates, coaching staff and our amazing fans. The journey continues. Kiitos Banzai," wrote Antwi on social media.
KuPS, who are participating in this season's UEFA Conference League, will represent Finland in the UEFA Champions League in the next campaign.
